Rhi's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, my name is Shaun Baldwin and I have the absolute pleasure of working with Rhi at Cedar Pointe Health and Wellness Center. I am organizing this Gofundme to help with the medical expenses following Rhi's unexpected hospitalization and her road to recovery. On the morning of August 2nd, Rhi was rushed to the hospital after waking up with a terrible headache and nausea. Once at the hospital, it was discovered that she had a congenital brain condition called an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) that had ruptured and filled her cranial cavity with blood. Rhi had surgery to relieve the pressure and eventually was intubated and on life support. She had a tracheostomy and a PEG tube placed to allow her to be weaned off life support. She has since had an incredible recovery and is alert and talking, but she still has a long road ahead. She is awaiting an additional brain surgery to repair the AVM to prevent future problems from occurring. Anyone lucky enough to have spent time with Rhi knows she would go out of her way to help someone in need. Now is our chance to help her out.
