Hi everyone!

On Sunday the 8th March, I will be taking part in the Charity horse race over 1 mile at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse on my thoroughbred Dragonball Prince.

I have chosen to raise funds for Cherish, a charity which has a parent support group linked to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Their aim is to provide help to parents - either when their babies are on SCBU or afterwards.

This charity is very close to my heart as my cousin has 3 beautiful triplets Darcie Delilah and Dottie who were in the care of SCBU after they were born. The special care unit is full of caring loving staff who go above and beyond for every single child that is born and needing special care and that extra mile for the parents.

Many of the things this charity do go unnoticed except by the recipients of the help.

This charity have now set up accommodation for parents while their babies are in SCBU, this is so important especially if they dont live near the hospital and means they can be with their precious babies all the time.

I am so excited for this race to take place and raising money for such an important cause and one so close to me and my family.
