Hi, my name is Latasha and I am writing on behalf of my cousin Rhiannon Pink -Murphy, who is affectionately known as Rhi.
On the 10th of April 2026, Rhi was diagnosed with T Cell Cutaneous Lymphoma which is a rare skin cancer.
She was told that there is no cure or treatment available for her and that she has only weeks to live. She was told she should just live out the last days of her life as comfortable as possible. She moved to a Hospice a weel ago and is not ready to give up and die and feels as well as she has been in months! She and we as a family feel as though there has not been enough explored and as though she has been written off.
A little back track to this year. In January she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called HLH where she was gravely ill and placed in intensive care, where she fought with everything to overcome this disease and she did with the help of treatment. This disease is known to start as a secondary reason, meaning that there was something else underlying that triggered it. They did test after test and couldn't find the reason why. Once Rhi was better they planned to move her to the rehabilitation centre to help her to become well enough to return home. Whilst in hospital, after taking a skin biopsy, they diagnosed her with this cancer.
We have now sought a second opinion of this diagnosis as we know that there are people who were diagnosed with the same cancer and have received stem cell therapy and are now on the road to recovery. We are also looking into International institutes and consultants that specialise in T Cell Cutaneous Lymphoma, who may be able to offer a treatment with the other conditions she has.
Rhi also has Kidney disease which she has had for many years and her functions are well and she has not recieved dialysis and the treatment she has had for this is working. Her kidney functions are the healthiest they have been for years.
Rhi will not stop fighting this disease and we cannot accept as a family that there is no possible treatment out there for her. We are doing as much research as possible to see what other options there are for her, which her consultants don't seem to think she has.
We want to raise this money to go towards any costs for specialist treatment, whether in the UK or further abroad and to help with the cost of travel, board and expenses.
The funds will also enable Rhi to be able to go on outings snd fulfil her wish list.
Rhi is a sweet, funny, caring and special person. She brings such light into everyone’s path that she crosses and has an infectious laugh. She has recently turned 30yrs old and she has everything to live for! All her life, she’s looked out for others and been an amazing woman. Her personality is one of a kind and has always been the bundle of joy in our family and amongst her friends. There are so many things she wants to do and achieve and we want to her achieve it.
Thank you for taking time to read this and supporting Rhi with her fight against Cancer! ❤️
