I’m creating this post so that those who want to contribute financially to Rhett, Shelby, and the family during this time have the opportunity to do so. I know they sincerely appreciate it.

As many of you may know, on Monday, May 18, Rhett suffered a terrible accident while spending the day on the river with his wife and two girls. After suffering a neck injury in the water, Shelby was able to resuscitate him and he was flown to Shands where they performed surgery. Rhett is currently still in ICU intubated waiting on his lungs to heal from the water he took in during the accident.

The immediate prayer request is for Rhett’s lungs to heal so that he can be extubated and begin his recovery. We also pray for the healing of his spine and for Rhett to regain full function. Please also keep the family in your prayers as they walk through this with him. We pray for healing, strength, wisdom, peace, and comfort.
