Greetings to all Family and Friends!
I definitely want to thank each and every one of you for taking your time to visit this page and learn about what I have been up to the past 3 years and what I’m planning.

As you may or may not know, my name is Alyssia Braxton from Kinston, North Carolina!! Shout out to the 2-5-2!! I’m currently a ninth quarter chiropractic student at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Wrapping up my third year in school and second quarter in student clinic. Over this long journey I have been learning so much about the practice to facilitate healing. I have been handed an opportunity to use the skills I have learned in class and Student Clinic to serve numerous amounts of people that I could not pass up.
On March 27th, 2020 I will embark on a 5 day chiropractic service trip in Baja, Mexico. I will be spending five days adjusting the beautiful people of Baja with students and doctors from around the country.
I’ll be traveling with more than 30 committed, focused, and highly intentional chiropractic students whose desire is nothing less than to serve people at the highest level possible. Once we arrive in San Diego, we’ll drive into Mexico with our trip coordinator, Dr. Sukhi Muker. For more information about the organization of this trip, click on the link below:

Why Chiropractic? Chiropractic is the science, art, and philosophy of detecting and removing vertebral subluxations. Subluxations are minor dislocations of spinal bones (vertebrae) that cause the nerves exiting the spinal cord to become impinged. When this occurs, the brain is not able to communicate messages from the brain to the body and vice versa. These messages can be for our heart rate, digestion, or even breathing. The brain allows us to interact with the world… how we feel, who we love and what motivates us. If there is an interference in the transmission of these messages, someone will not be able to function at their highest potential, which can impact physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Chiropractic adjustments restore the brain-body connection to facilitate healing and improved nervous system communication.
Why do I need your help? In order to make this service trip a reality, trip and flight expenses need to be covered. I have a goal to raise $1500 that will cover all of the following expenses for my flight and the trip:
Trip Cost with accommodation = $988
Airfare= $400
Food/water/toiletries= $100
I am also accepting donations through Venmo (@Alyssia-Braxton) and Cash App ($Abrax123)

Donating to my campaign is not only supporting this service trip but it is contributing to my journey on becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. If you feel that you are being called to support me, I am more than grateful to receive your generous contribution. Your support inspires me to serve more people and to allow myself to reach levels I’ve never reached before.
Peace, love, and blessings ❤️
