Hello, my name is Amber and I'm trying to raise funds for my treatment and bills while I recover. I normally work 3 jobs and pride myself on my work ethic and willingness to bust my butt to help support our family. I manage a tattoo shop, work the Canteen at the VFW, and I bartend a few days a week. I'm always busy working for us.

I have an amazing husband who works full time plus side jobs to take care of us. My disabled mom lives with us and we take care of her, & have been for years since she can't work & doesn't get any kind of check or anything.

I've recently been diagnosed with a joint effusion of my right hip- which is basically fluid around the joint, pericapsular mineralization about both hips- something like calcium deposits is what I was told, and to top it off a tiny umbilical hernia. This came during/after my Friday night work shift. I thought it was just a little soreness at first, but it got to the point that I was almost falling from my legs buckling from the pain. We left work and I went home to rest and see if I would feel any better. It took me hours to go to sleep, and when I finally did, I was woken up a few hours later by searing pain in my hip. I immediately asked my husband to take me to the ER. I knew something was seriously wrong.

The pain is excruciating and debilitating, pretty much the worst I've ever experienced. First thing I need is to have the hip drained and tested for infection, then we can move on from there.

The drain will be a couple days hospital stay plus whatever recovery time is needed. I'm not sure how long I will have to be out of work, but more than a few days will be devastating for us. We just can't pay bills and keep up with everything on one income.

So this is me swallowing my pride and asking for help, because my family needs it if we're going to make it through this.
