Last week, one of Felicia's twins had to be taken by Flight for Life to Albany Med, where she has been in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. 4-month-old Rhaenyra is suffering from swelling and bleeding on the brain and multiple seizures.

Rhaenyra (Rhae for short) has had to endure surgery to relieve the pressure, tubes into both sides of the brain, and numerous MRI, Cat Scans, EEGs and other tests. Rhae is slowly recovering, doing a bit better every day, but she has a long, long road ahead and it is unknown if she will ever fully recover. This was the result of abuse by the twins’ father, who has admitted to shaking her.

Felicia has a full time job but is not working as she takes care of her babies. She wants to return to work as soon as she can, but realistically that may be quite some time. In addition to medical bills, Felicia is going to have many expenses, such as daycare and finding housing that she needs help with .We are helping her where we can, but my Leukemia bills for the past year are closing on $1M and there are a lot of related expenses for us that are not covered (travel, hotel, food, etc) that are going to limit just how much we can do.
