Support Charlie's Life-Saving Surgery

My dad’s best friend isn’t human — he’s a little ball of fur named Charlie. When surgery threatened to take him away, I stepped in. I’m keeping this fundraiser private from my parents, but I can’t do it alone.

Please help me save my dad’s fur buddy, Charlie.

Charlie is not even 3 years old, and I can’t imagine separating him from my parents and his three cat brothers at home.

A few years ago, my dad retired — and a year after, he was diagnosed with cancer. Through every treatment and tough day, Charlie has been his little shadow, his therapy cat, and a huge source of comfort.

Recently, Charlie needed urgent, extensive surgery for serious urinary issues — costing over $3,000. With the weight of hospital bills, my parents had to make the heartbreaking decision to sign him over for adoption because they couldn’t afford it.

I couldn’t let that happen. I stepped in, paid to bring Charlie home, and saw my dad cry happy tears when they were reunited. It was worth every penny — and I’d do it again in a heartbeat — but with my own medical bills, it’s going to be a challenge to pay off.

I’m doing this fundraiser quietly, without telling my parents, out of respect for them. They don’t like asking for help or taking handouts, but I know many of you are animal lovers who understand how much these little souls mean to us.
