Hi friends & family. Benji needs our help, and we need yours.
Last weekend, Benji began loosing muscle and nerve function and within one day was unable to walk or lift his head. He's 2 years old, full of love and zoomies and biscuit making, but now is unable to do much on his own. We rushed him to multiple emergency vets and animal hospitals, but no one could tell us what was wrong. At 4am on Sunday, a neurologist took him in and we finally started getting some answers.
Benji was hospitalized for three days. He needed a catheter and IV fluids, and the team ran several tests, an MRI, and X-rays to search for answers. He’s finally home and on three medications that are helping with pain and giving him a little strength back, but we still don’t have a diagnosis for why he got so sick.
We will do whatever it takes to bring back the loving kitty who is truly the glue of our family. Any amount you can give helps us keep progressing with his care.
