Michelle's Fight

Our fun loving, outgoing and tough Michelle was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on January 23rd. While the initial shock of the diagnosis was overwhelming, she is ready to take this beast on and tackle the hard road ahead of her one day at a time.  She is being treated through the University of Kansas Cancer Center. They have assured her that her team of doctors, including Surgeon Dr. Jamie Wagner and Oncologist Dr. Lauren Nye are the "A Team", so she is getting the best care possible. The plan will start with chemotherapy. After chemo is completed, she will undergo surgery and then radiation. You all know Michelle well enough to know that cancer has one hell of a fight in front of it, and her strength is second to none. Unfortunately,  even with insurance the costs of treatment are a lot to bear. We want to make sure Michelle can focus on this fight and not worry about the financial burden that comes with expensive treatments and surgery.  If you are able to help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.  Myself, along with her good friend Britt and her sister in law Kim have been pushing and asking what we can do to help. (She is not very good at asking for help ha!) So, we thought maybe just a small gofundme could maybe help.
