HELP US SAVE RESCUE GROUP FOR SPANISH ANIMALS SHELTER – IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARIA

We, Rescue Group for Spanish Animals (RGSA), urgently need to raise £40,000 to keep our home and all the animals safe.

RGSA Shelter in Spain – once a place of hope, healing and unconditional love – is now at risk of disappearing forever.

Maria, the incredible lady who built the RGSA Shelter from nothing, dedicated her life to rescuing abandoned, abused and forgotten dogs. For years, she poured her heat and soul into giving these animals the love and care they never had. But what many did not see was the silent battle Maria was fighting inside herself.

Maria suffered from mental illness. She struggled quietly for a long time, and tragically, she ended her own life. Her loss is indescribable.

Before she passed, Maria made me her heir. She entrusted me with the animals, the land, the mission – and her dream. But because we were not related by blood, the law now requires me to pay a significant heritance tax and legal fees. The total will be around £40,000.

We are now in a heartbreaking position:-

If we cannot pay this amount, we will lose everything

The RGSA Shelter will be taken

The animals – many of them are abandoned, traumatised and mistreated – will lose their home and will be lost to a horrible fate.

I live and work here and I will become homeless or I will fall into lifelong debt.

RGSA is doing everything it can but we cannot do this without your help.
