Life is unpredictable and our future's are never promised, things happen suddenly and unexpectedly.
Our beloved friend Jorge Salgado was victim of life's unpredictability December 12, 2016. After several visits to the emergency room due to complaints of rectal bleeding, Doctor's diagnosed Jorge with a Malignant neoplasm of the rectum. Jorge has Stage 3 colorectal cancer that has spread to his nearby lymph nodes. Jorge is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments every other week three days a week. The chemotherapy includes four different froms of medication in which doctors are hoping to treat his type of cancer aggressively to prevent any more spreading. Jorge will then undergo surgery after four months of the treatment.
Unfortunately, the chemotherapy process, the side effects, and recovery time after each treatment has prevented Jorge from continuing to provide for his family financially. It is hard now for Paula Salgado, Jorge's wife to make ends meet in their household, for Jorge, Angelina, their eleven year old daughter and herself.
We are creating this go fund me account to help Jorge and Paula with their financial needs. This includes the insurnace deductibles of his hospital and Doctor visits, as well as their daily and monthly financial needs.
This is also to provide Jorge with support from his friends and family, to show Jorge that we are here for him. I am sure he will be forever grateful for any little donation that can be made and Paula will also receive a lot from this support.
