Help send Henry home!

Hi, my name is Carrie and I’m trying to raise money to help a family in such a difficult time.

Henry was a fellow colleague, a PSW who came to Canada to work and support his family back home in Nigeria. His help was so greatly appreciated during the pandemic when there was such a shortage of healthcare workers. We worked together at a local long term care facility. Henry had a smile that could brighten a room, a laugh that was contagious and a great sense of humor.

Henry touched the hearts of so many during his time in our community. From sitting and chatting with the residents, making humorous jokes with coworkers or attending local sports events on his days off.

Unfortunately, Henry passed away tragically on August 2nd. Henry was a loving husband and a father to two beautiful children. His family is back home in Nigeria and would love nothing more than for his body to be brought home to be buried. The cost of having Henry sent home far exceeds what the family can afford. The family has expressed their feelings and asks that is we cannot raise enough funds to send him home we give him a proper burial in Canada.

Any additional funds if any are raised above the cost will be sent directly to Henry's wife and children.
