Memorial Fund For Inga Pickett

I would like to thank everyone for the love, prayers, and support they have given over the years to my sister Inga and her family. I was asked to administer a memorial fund in her name with all proceeds going to her five young children.
Inga (Thompson) Pickett, age 40, of O’Fallon, Missouri was called home to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, December 25, 2015. She was born on Easter Sunday, March 30, 1975 in Heidelberg, West Germany, and raised in Kirksville, Missouri. Inga graduated as valedictorian from Kirksville High School as a member of the Class of 1993 and attended Washington University in St. Louis.
She is survived by her husband John; children Nina, Lillie, Asa, Nadia, and Heidi; parents Mark and Mindy Thompson of Kirksville; brothers Chad Thompson of Wichita, KS, Tony (Kathy) Thompson of Kirksville, and Grant (Kristen) Thompson of Mooresville, NC; and grandmother Doris Thompson of Kirksville.
Inga worked for several years as the general manager of Fritz’s Frozen Custard in O’Fallon. She tirelessly supported her children in their many activities, including dance, basketball, football, soccer, cheerleading, and swimming. She was their biggest fan and enjoyed coaching and watching their recitals, games, and practices. Inga was a strong woman of faith who trusted in Jesus Christ and served the Lord faithfully, giving all glory to God. She used her cancer diagnosis as a source of inspiration to learn about the disease and to help others who were experiencing similar life trials. She was a tremendous source of inspiration for family, friends, and complete strangers when she spoke to churches, groups, and individuals. Inga experienced several God-given, life-saving miracles over the last 8 years. Inga was blessed with her final miracle on Christmas morning, when she received the greatest Christmas gift of all – eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
