Hypoplastic left heart syndrome

Donation protected
Hello my name is Wendy Calderon and my son, Wesley, was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Wesley has had three open-heart surgeries already done on him and is now waiting for a heart transplant. His first surgery took place when he was one month old, his second surgery was when he was six months,  and the third surgery was when he was four years old. His father and I and the doctors did not know Wesley had this problem at the time. After I gave birth to him they sent us home but shortly three days later Wesley got terribly sick and we had to take him back to the hospital, at Marin General. The doctors told us that if we hadn't taken Wesley to the hospital that day he would've died at our house. We took him to Marin General Hospital and  from Marin General Hospital they transferred him to UCSF. When they transferred him to UCSF Wesley was in a coma. I remember that the doctors told us that he needed his heart surgery right away, they were simply waiting for him to get out of his coma. When he had his first surgery we stayed at the hospital for four months with him because he was left terribly weak and sick and needed the assistance of the doctors.

Wesley is a sweet little boy, and is now currently 6 years old, who loves going to school and he is starting first grade this year. Wesley loves playing soccer and  his favorite team is Barcelona. We have put him on Soccer Teams but unfortunately  it is very hard for him because he gets very low oxygen and his lips, to his nose, and from his toes to his fingers nails he begins to turn blue as the oxygen leaves his body. Wesley's dream is to meet Barcelona in person and become a doctor as he says.

If you guys find it in your hearts to donate $5,$10,$20 or whatever you can, it will help out tremendously . My family will be forever grateful. But I, too, completely understand if you can't donate. I then ask you if you could please pray for Wesley. This is something that is extremely hard and painful for my family. But with the money that we are hoping to receive, we will be paying for his medical bills, medicine bills and hoping to allow his dreams come true. Please help this family and thank you so much for your support.
