Mi nombre es Fernando, y recurro a ustedes para pedir ayuda en uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida. A principios de este año tuve una emergencia medica y me hicieron una cirugía mayor que me dejó sin poder trabajar. Mientras aún me encontraba hospitalizado recuperándome, mi querida compañera de vida se enfermó gravemente. Lamentablemente, falleció a finales de abril. Tener que enfrentar su pérdida mientras sigo en proceso de sanación ha sido increíblemente doloroso. Lamentablemente, aún no puedo volver a trabajar debido a mi recuperación, y ahora tengo programado otro procedimiento médico que retrasará aún más mi capacidad para generar ingresos. Estoy haciendo todo lo posible por mantenerme firme, pero me enfrento al riesgo de desalojo y estoy luchando para cubrir mis necesidades básicas: comida, vivienda y utilidades. Con humildad, pido el apoyo de mi comunidad para poder mantenerme mientras me recupero y trato de reconstruir mi vida. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que sea, marcaría una gran diferencia. Hello, my name is Fernando, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help during one of the most difficult times of my life. Earlier this year, I underwent major surgery that left me unable to work. While I was still in the hospital recovering, my beloved life partner became ill. Tragically, she passed away in late April. Mourning her loss while still trying to heal has been unimaginably hard. Unfortunately, I am still not able to return to work due to my ongoing recovery, and I now face another medical procedure that will further delay my ability to earn an income. I’m doing my best to stay strong, but I am at risk of eviction and struggling to meet even my most basic needs—food, shelter, and utilities.
