Hello, this is Russell's family. Russell's always trying to bring smiles to those around him whether it's telling tall tales to his nieces and nephews, entertaining the patrons at his bar, or just supporting a friend going through a hard time.

On Sunday, July 16, Russell had a terrible accident that left him with multiple skull fractures; a broken neck and back; a broken rib, collarbone, and shoulder blade; and a partially collapsed lung. Russell was in the hospital for over a week on bedrest, including 4 days in the ICU, and has an uncertain road to recovery. Unfortunately, Russell doesn't have health insurance and, even with financial assistance from the hospital, the out-of-pocket costs for his hospital stay and future care are overwhelming. Fortunately, none of Russell's injuries caused paralysis or brain damage and his doctors believe he'll make a full recovery.

We're so grateful for the excellent care he's received so far and the kind support of his friends and family.
