Ronnie is a beloved big brother, father, and lifelong musician who has spent over 30 years bringing music and joy to our community. A talented local artist, he played guitar in local bands for decades and even toured the U.S. as a lead guitarist, playing and opening for several well-known country artists. After retiring from touring, Ronnie continued sharing his gift of music right here at home.
Recently, Ronnie was diagnosed with advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue, which has spread to his lymph nodes. The diagnosis has changed everything. He currently relies on a tracheostomy to breathe and a feeding tube for nutrition. Because of these challenges, Ronnie is unable to work, and both medical and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up.
We are raising funds to help cover Ronnie’s medical and living expenses during this incredibly difficult time. If we are able to raise enough, we hope to hire a home health professional to assist with his daily medical needs and give him the best possible chance at recovery.
Ronnie has always shown up for others through his music and his generosity. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much, as well as all of your prayers for a full recovery. Thank you for supporting Ronnie and our family during this time.
