Hello all...
After a 20 year hiatus, Tongue And Groove are ready with material for a new Album.
We have 12 tracks completed at a home recording level (demo), and we are looking to 'Gofundme' in order to contribute towards studio costs, the aim being to get a quality sound and possibly an additional Producer.
The original plan was to fund the new project the way its always been done, that is:- Gig and Save...
Sadly its quite a bleak affair at this moment in history, as many venues (pubs/clubs etc) are not there anymore.
Some of the venues that 'are' still going have changed to more food establishments, so they're not really in the market for a loud Rock Band!
I do see some light on the horizon...
We're from West Cornwall, and I've noticed around the county in the last couple of years, some 'niche' new venues popping up in the small towns. Who knows, could this be a sign of people moving away from their screens and physically socialising again?
I remaim optimistic!
Anyhow....depending on how much we raise will dictate the level we go too with recording. The more we raise, the better the studio/producer/reputation.
