Reuvain Yoel // Richard Joel still needs ongoing treatments for his liver condition & medications as well. Frequent blood tests, sonograms, biopsy, ultra sounds, etc.....
It was also recently discovered thru blood tests, that he is a genotype 3a and not a 1a, so the medications used to treat him in the past year were not accurate.!? He is outraged over these new findings, but this is the case now. It is very unfortunate.
He is going to need every ones help to try and put the pieces together once again, in his fight to prevent a liver transplant & or cancer.....

My name is Richard Blaine. My Hebrew name is Reuvain Yoel ben Naomi and I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York. I am collecting Tzedakah for my medical condition. I have cirrhosis of the liver, genotype 3a. Please be an angel and do a mitzvah for me.
I was recently diagnosed with heavy metals in my blood. The doctors are not sure what caused this. Since 2000, I was unable to work and the doctors placed me twice on Interferon, and unfortunately, those medications simply did "not" work. Until 2005, I was in and out of hospitals. For the past 9 years, I have also tried holistic diets and vitamins, hoping this would help, but I was unable to recover. Since my diagnosis, 17 years have passed. I do not wish to undergo a "liver transplant" in the future and trying to find the best treatment available to avoid this.
There are new medications that may help me but they are extremely expensive. They seem to be the cure for Hepatitis C and so I will not have to have a transplant.

I have no family left for support and I am totally on my own. I have been struggling for the past 17 years with this condition. I have no health insurance and even if I did, the cost of these medications is not covered under Medicaid or Medicare.
I have been collecting Tzedakah (going door to door), from state to state, for what seems to be a lifetime of endless going around in circles and not getting anywhere so to speak. I have even been to several
countries over the years..... It's like a merry-go-round
never ending...!!!
I know I am not the only one in the world who needs help, but I am davening/praying I will be able to get out of this mess with my current medical situation and other challenges I am going through so I can live my life as a healthy person. I will be 58 on January 24th, 2018.
I want to thank everyone for their help, support and concerns in hopes and prayers that I will be able to achieve this goal, this year, finally...!!!
