Hello all.. Daisy is my 5-year-old English Cream Retriever who is my Service Dog, and my world. She has always been healthy and happy. This morning I let her out to go to the bathroom and as she was peeing, blood started coming out of her private area.. then her insides came out. Daisy was spayed in 2023. I ran in, put my boots on and the first jacket I could find, put her in the car and left. I called the hospital I wanted to go to to let them know I was on the way, for them to tell me they didn’t have enough staff on for an emergency such as ours if her insides were coming out so they redirected me to two other hospitals. Only one was able to take us. The one I didn’t want to go to because of previous not great experiences. We’re here now. I paid the $186 exam fee for them to bring her to me still bleeding and insides out. They quoted me $2331.08 for diagnostics. Part of that has been paid, so they started the X-rays; however, I need help raising the rest of the money for completed diagnostics and treatment. Treatment we don’t yet know what the exact cost will be, but I can imagine it’s more than I have since what’s already been paid is more than I have.
