Assist Cindy in Her Time of Need

Hello, my name is Summer and I am reaching out to ask for support for the Holman family. This season of life has been the hardest yet for my mom (Cindy), Grandma, and Aunt Donna. At the beginning of 2024, my Aunt Donna was diagnosed with mouth cancer and she was told she had to undergo surgery for treatment/removal. On December 15th my mom and Grandmother drove to Shands hospital in Gainesville to have the surgery. That same day my mom received a message she has been released from her job due to unforeseen circumstances. Once they arrived and my Aunt Donna went into surgery, my Grandmothers health issues she already had, took a turn for the worse and my mother had the call an ambulance to their motel room. We were told my Grandma had MRSA and that week she had to have 3 surgeries to try to treat the infection. Due to this my mother had to stay in Gainesville 2 weeks longer than originally expected which put my mom in a financial gutter. Now that they are released from the hospital after multiple surgeries each, the outcome has left the entire family struggling to make ends meet at the moment. Both my Aunt Donna and Grandma are having to stay at my moms house for her to be able to take care of them. My Aunt Donna is on bed rest recovering with a feeding tube and trachea and all of the cancer was unable to be removed. It has now progressed to stage 4 and she is having to undergo chemo. My Grandma has to have 6 weeks of IV antibiotics to recover which my mom is administering to her. They are also having to go back and forth to Gainesville for check up appointments where they are having to put the money they do have towards motels. My mom is not able to go back to work due to being their 24 hour caregiver and she won't be able to go back until they make full recoveries. We hate to ask for help but it truly has gotten to a point where the family has been left with no choice. We ask for any help possible no matter what that looks like.
