Help Us Honor Our Mother’s Memory

My name is John Rhoten. My sisters and I, Jessie and Jenny Deatley, as some of you may know, recently lost our mother just before Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, she had no life insurance and no money set aside. Our mother’s passing was quick and unexpected. She had a ruptured colon that caused her body to go septic. With that it started shutting down her major organs and they had to put her on life-support and do an emergency surgery in order to get the infected intestines removed. Unfortunately, considering her previous heart conditions, her heart was unable to handle the life-support in the dialysis to get the infection out of her blood and body. Myself and my two sisters was lucky enough that we got to hold our mom in our arms while she took her last breath. Only fitting since she held us for our first breath and we got to hold her while she took her last breath. Little did we know or even care at the time she did not have life insurance. Her brother agreed to pay for her services but has since backed out Because we will not release her personal belongings to him. With that said, my sisters and myself are forced to start this GoFundMe page to help our mother.

With as tight as funds are in the economy these days, we regret even asking anybody for help, but we need to come up with the money to cover our mother's cremation and burial and her celebration of life. Again, we know times are tough for all families. We’re hoping that we can possibly get some relief in helping cover the funeral and memorial arrangements for our mother. We thank you in advance.
