In Loving Memory of Maria

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Aunt Maria, who passed away unexpectedly on the morning of June 5th, 2025 while trying to open an outward-opening casement window she fell nine stories.

Our family is devastated. Aunt Maria always ended a conversation by saying, “I love you” and “I wish you well”, and she truly meant it every time. Her warmth, kindness, and love touched everyone she met.

Aunt Maria leaves behind her grown children, Roman and Zofia, who are now facing the heartbreaking challenge of moving forward without their mother. In the midst of their grief, they are also burdened with the unexpected funeral expenses of over $25,000 alone.

We are asking for support to help ease this burden. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly to the funeral, legal and death related expenses. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution.
