Hey everyone… I’m reaching out with a really heavy heart. These past weeks have been so hard for our families and for so many Mexicans in our community. ICE has been taking so many people, and it feels like every day another family gets torn apart. It’s scary, it’s painful, and it’s something no one should have to go through.

Right now my family is going through it too. My uncle was taken, and my aunt is doing everything she can to get him a bond so he can come home. She’s trying so hard but she doesn’t have a stable job, and she’s struggling just to keep a roof over her and her boys’ heads while fighting to bring him back. She’s breaking down, but she’s still trying because she has no choice.

I’m asking—please—if anyone can help, even a little, it would mean the world to us. Anything you can give helps my aunt keep going, helps her hold her family together while everything around her feels like it’s falling apart.
