Finding Lights - Short Film
Donation protected
We are an independent team of film students and aspiring filmmakers with a passion for telling authentic, emotional stories that resonate with audiences. Our latest project, Finding Lights, is a short film that delves into the struggles of growing up with an alcoholic, suicidal parent. This film is more than just a story—it’s a reflection of the reality many people face but often feel too isolated to talk about.
Beyond exploring these deeply personal challenges, Finding Lights also opens up discussions about mental health and faith, highlighting how both can play a role in the journey toward healing. Our vision is to create a film that not only sheds light on difficult family dynamics but also offers hope to those who feel lost in their circumstances. We believe that each viewer will connect with this film in a unique way, bringing their own experiences and perspectives to the story.
Your donations will help us cover the key costs of making Finding Lights: paying our lead and supporting actors fairly, securing our filming locations, feeding our team during the shoot, getting essential props and costumes, and safely transferring kit to set. Every contribution brings this story to life and supports a young team of filmmakers.
We are planning to move from our current Pre-Production Phase into Production Phase in June. Building a fund that can help us create the vision we aspire towards.
