This was a very sad Christmas for us, you see my wife Alice Angelis and I (Ted Angelis) found out "our love of our life" our pet boxer dog Cash was not feeling well.  We noticed he was drinking lots of water and urinating frequently and when we felt around his neck we noticed two large lumps.  We immediately brought him to our vet., doctor Charles W. Byron, who suspected the worst  but suggested we see a specialist.  It was there that are worst fears were realized.  The doctors at Animal Cancer Care Clinic, at Ft. Lauderdale told us that our baby, our 6 year old Cash had Lymphoma, a type of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes in his throat and other parts of his body.  My wife, Alice and I broke down and cried, we could not believe it, our love, our friend, our Cash is so sick.  My wife especially took this news very hard, she was and still is very dependent on Cash, for she is recovering from Back Surgery and he is her constant companion.  He makes her day, he motivates her to get up out of bed for her therapy walk and snuggles up next to her when she is in pain.  Cash has a special scense about him, dispite his large size he is so gentle when he is with Alice, he rests his head on her feet and stares at her with such love.
The doctors at Animal Cancer Care Clinic determined that Cash will require 4 seprate group sessions of 4 week intervals of Chemotherapy along with Steriod Treatments to combat this cancer.  So, we started the treatments and the first two weeks ran a cost of $2,000. 00 of which we were able to come up with the moneys.  Cash's reponce has been positive and we are very greatful to the doctors at Animal Cancer Care Clinic.  However, they explained to us that he will still need the rest of the treatments to keep his cancer in remission.
These treatments have put a definate strain on our budget, we are both senior citizens and I am the only one working.  And the costs of the other 3 treatments will run up to $6,000.00 the doctors tell us, I don't know where we will come up with the moneys.  We are hoping that you good people who read this will find it in your hearts to give our Cash a chance to beat this and get a chance to be with us longer.  We greatly appreciate any and all donations and Cash  would like to personally thank you and God Bless
