In 2023, my stepdad was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his throat. He underwent radiation therapy and was in remission. Until recently, the cancer has come back aggressively. He underwent a neck dissection surgery on 2/14/2025, where the cancer was found invading most of his neck. Both jugular veins had to be removed. Unfortunately, as of June, it had spread to his brain. As most of you may know, Glen succumbed to his cancer on 06/16/2025.
