Reyna Marroquin's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
As most of you know by now, our beloved Reyna is battling cancer at St. Joseph's hospital and her condition is worsening by the day. She has stage IV cancer She has meant so much to our family and to many many other families and individuals over the years so we wanted to put together a fundraising page for her medical bills. It is unlikely that her family will be able to afford her treatment alone without outside help. We ask that you would consider sharing her story with others and please donate as much as you feel comfortable to Reyna and her family. She has not asked me to put together this website on her behalf, but our family feels like it is the least we can do. ANYTHING HELPS!! Thank you sooo much!
Just to give everyone an update:
Her husband, Auturo, told Andy (my father) that she has lost over 20 pounds during the last few weeks but is feeling better. Reyna's oncologist's name is Dr. Susan Freeman.
Barney White communicated to me that Reyna actually went home on 1/23. She started chemotherapy on the 20th and the doctor said that she . I saw her yesterday afternoon and I think she's feeling a little better, whether because of the chemo, the fact that they got her separate abdominal infection under control by getting a significant amount of fluid drained, or just because she's finally getting some form of treatment. Her cancer has spread to her spine, which is causing a lot of pain. She'll go back for another round of chemo in 2 weeks and will complete 4 total rounds of chemo. We are all praying for her recovery.
Reyna was born in El Salvador in . She and her husband Arturo Marroquin are the loving parents of four children: Wendy (35), Erick (30), Kevin (23), and Jeremias (21).
