Reyez' road to recovery

For those who don’t know . My son was stabbed at school on Monday late morning. He was severely injured and lost all his blood and was airlifted to Edmonton for emergency surgery. Surgeon said he lost all his blood twice. His body went into shock due to major blood loss and he went into a coma. He still needs another surgery when he recovers a bit . He woke up today from his coma and I’m so thankful! But we’re not out of the woods yet we’re still in Intensive care unit. I have so much on my mind . So drained from all this . I’m so heart broken. Quietly crying at my sons bedside this morning and he grabs my hand and holds my face . I kissed him on forehead he gave me a kiss back even though he’s on ventilator. We’re both awake supporting eachother. it’s hard to sleep in here . I’m so thankful as each day comes and he’s slowly recovering. I’m so heart broken and traumatized from all this. I need someone to cry to I’m trying to be strong for him. Hes not bleeding much inside anymore he’s in pain from all the surgery though. I prayed so hard for my son to be okay and recover . He’s my only child he’s my best friend he’s my son . I love him more than anything in this world . He’s so strong I love Reyez so much . Praying for a good easy recovery ❤️‍ . Everyone keep praying for my son, we’re still in ICU doctor said we’ll be here for a while yet . So please keep praying for my son Reyez. I hope this incident raises awareness in schools and something is done . I pray no other parent has to go through this as this is the hardest thing for me . Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. My boy is resting and I will try rest with him . I love you my son! He’s a good kid has a good life going for himself. Got his license and own vehicle and found himself a job . He got accepted into Canadian Armed Forces was to have his medical this coming Monday and leave to CAF in July . He didn’t deserve this. My son didn’t deserve this. I love him so much he’s all I have please let him recover
