Heart attack recovery

May.22nd.... A day ill never forget. That day my mother whome is 57 underwent a coranary bypass open heart surgery, it was an extremly stressful time for us as a family as her vitals were weak and the surgery took 2 hrs longer then expected . My brother Justin and his family were at the hospital in victoria  awaiting the news from my moms surgery. When the surgon came out to notify them that the surgery was a great sucess justin and his family left the cardio unit to go to there hotel. Half way there he started feeling the chest pain and symptoms associated with a heart attack. His wife whome is an RN immediately turned around and rushed him to the ER , on top of that she had taken his vitals etc and was able to ensure the awaiting nurses and physisions what exactally was happening. That day Justin suffered a heart attack referred to as a stemi which i cant tell you what that means but from what ive read between 70-90% of people who have that attack dont live to tell about it. In my heart ill forever be in debted to her for saving my brothers life that day. Aswell as to my mom because if justin wasnt near a major cardio unit he would likely of had a much different outcome .


I was enroute back to work in the yukon that day and landed in whitehorse at 11pm , by 1 am justin called me to let me know he was ok and for me to focus on work and to be safe which speaks much to his character... He also added that itll take more then a major heart attack to keep him down lol. 

Anyone who knows him and I know we share an incredible bond. Hes is my biggest influence in my life and has taught and guided me through every obsticle in life. Justin is an amazing individual who will always go out of his way to help anyone he can even if he doesnt want to , thats his nature. 
Moving forward justin will be off work for an extended ammount of time , he has 4 kids and his wife is pregnant with number 5, he just built a new home and will take posession July 5. I was wondering if we could Band together and raise some funds to help justin and his family get through the next 2 to 3 months that he will be off work. I know first hand how horrible deep financial stress can be and I want him to be able to focus on healing and his wife to focus on being healthy amd pregnant .
