Hey guys, we have brother that needs our help.
Over the past 35 years, Rey Reyna has served the Dallas/Fort Worth construction industry, his family, his teammates and his projects with his commitment, talent, and character with honor. For those of us who know Rey, he is a great friend, mentor, and teammate. He has always been there to help us when we needed it.
Rey and his family are fighting their way through a serious medical condition that has impacted his ability to work since December 2020. The struggle to save Rey's feet and legs began in 2016. Rey and Debra have been managing to survive those challenges despite great risk, pain, and expense over the past four years.
In December 2020, more problems developed in Rey's left foot and lower legs which required extended hospital stays, multiple surgeries, specialized rehab that prevented any work and employment opportunities. While the doctors have been able to save Rey's feet and legs to-date, the surgeries required the amputation of the toes on his left foot which has restricted Rey to the use of a wheelchair for mobility; which further extended Rey's work restrictions. The ongoing treatment and recovery has exhausted Rey's available insurance, disability coverages and any savings.
Despite these challenges and frustrations, Rey and Debra continue the fight everyday. Using a wheelchair and fortitude, Rey has managed to return to a limited work schedule including some hours in the office. Always a trooper; Rey wheels his smile, his incredible attitude and spirit into our office when able to help our team to meet our client and project needs. Unfortunately, those limited work hours do not help meet very much of the family’s life needs at this point.
Rey is a proud man and does not want to ask for help. After many discussions and much denial Rey and Debra finally agreed to allow us to establish a “go fund me" account to help assist them over the next few months as he continues his fight to get back to a full-time working schedule. If you know Rey, or understand the circumstances, we are asking you to assist the Reyna's to get return life back to normal.
We thank you for your continued thoughts, prayers, and support for Rey and his Family.
God Bless
