Reynaldo "Rey Rey" Deleon Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 12th 2020 due to complications from Covid-19. Rey spent 8 days in the hospital and 6 of those days on a ventilator.
Rey leaves behind his lovely wife Melissa and four beautiful daughters from 3 to 13 years of age (Juliana 3, Arianna 6, Lauriella 8). Rey was the bread winner and sole provider of his family.
Rey was a employee for us at Top Dollar Pawn Superstores from 2010 - 2013 where he learned the business and gained his love for being a pawn broker.
In 2013 TDP was bought out by Cash America, where Rey spent the next 5 years honing his craft and raising his family.
In July of 2018 Rey Rey once again joined us at Action Pawn in San Antonio. He spent the next 2 years gracing us with his presence, bringing a smile to work everyday and continuing to work hard to improve life for his family.
We are asking everyone from the Pawnshop Industry "The Family", to help us take care of his wife and children in their time of need. Our hope is that by reaching out to you, we can take care of our own pawnshop family members together. We know these are very trying times. But ANYTHING that you could contribute would be appreciated.
We know that if this was someone else, Rey Rey would be there for them. Giving the shirt off his back.
