Rexy's Eye Surgery

Hi everyone,

For those of you who know me, you know how much Rexy means to me and my family that we have always done our very best to care for him. For those of you who know Rexy, you know that he is an absolute joy and brings a smile to anyone he meets.

Unfortunately, Rexy has had many ocular struggles in his life. When he was two years old he was attacked by another dog and lost his left eye. In the time that he has been under my care, since February 2021, he has gotten corneal ulcers twice. We've learned to manage all this and give him the best quality of life possible. Things have taken a turn for the worse. Rexy has gone completely blind in his right eye and is suffering from cataracts and glaucoma. Due to extremely elevated eye pressure levels, his eye must be surgically removed. Keeping the eye is not an option as his eye pressure levels are so elevated that it causes him pain and discomfort.

I am asking for any donations to assist in paying for his eye surgery and covering the cost of any aftercare that may be necessary for him. Thank you in advance for anything you contribute.
