Celebrating the life of Rex Santacera
Donation protected
My good friend Rex, beloved son, awesome fur daddy, and loving husband, left us suddenly at only 41 years young after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. He will be remembered by his parents, Rosalina and Lone, wife of 10 years, Elaine, his siblings, Lyn and Roland, fur babies, Kilo and Dash.
I want to share a story with you about Rex. Similar to most weekends, Rex, Elaine, Paul, and I were at a pool hall. On this night, I expressed how beautiful our waitress was. As the night progressed, Rex noticed that I wasn’t going to talk with her. At some point, Rex somehow ended up with my keys and proceeded to gave them to her. As we were leaving, I couldn’t find my keys. Several minutes later, Rex finally confessed and suggested that I go ask the waitress. This was classic Rex, he was always so SELFLESS and wanted to make sure his friends happy.
This is one of countless stories that I can share with you about the type of person Rex was. I also know many of you can attest to the type of person Rex was and how he has impacted you. This was on full display when many of you came by the hospital and visited. Some of us sat for hours swapping laughter and stories about him.
Now, we’re asking for your help again. Please donate what you can to help the family and wife. Any amount would mean the world to properly send this generous person who has touch so many of us with the proper send off!
Your contributions will cover:
medical expenses [deductions, any amount not covered by insurance]
funeral expenses [cremation, transportation of his ashes to Hawaii & Philippines]
unforeseeable expenses [support for Elaine]
Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
