rex’s top surgery fund ⚧️

Hey, I’m rex, I’m 25, I’m transmasc & for years I’ve been working towards different aspects of my transition and each step I progress, no matter how big or small, I feel closer to the person that I have always been destined to be. Over the past roughly 15 years I’ve had an incredibly rocky journey with my gender, having repressed a lot of the things I felt as a kid just for not having a means or understanding of how to express the ways that I was feeling. I first started pushing myself towards my goal when I was 19 and since then I’ve seen my heart and soul glow, as a result of my own growth and the amazing communities I’ve found myself lucky enough to be apart of.

For a number of years I’ve individually ran queer events and been apart of my city’s trans pride collective and the stories I’ve heard and people that I’ve met through those avenues have inspired me to break through my own self doubt and fears and begin to raise money towards my top surgery, something I feel to be the most pressing part of my transition.

As well as saving as much money I can do personally I’m also going to be holding a number of fundraising events in the coming months/years but if you’d like to add to these efforts and bring me closer to my target it would be so deeply appreciated, there’s no real I way could ever repay allowing me to find freedom in my own body but it would be held so dearly to me forever

This is a surgery that I have no option but to pursue privately and will cost upwards of £8k, excluding consultations/recovery. £10,000 would allow me to move with ease and safety through this journey without restriction and having to scrimp and dodge costs which is a very scary reality a lot of trans people have to face when it comes to medical transition.
