January 23, 2026 changed our lives forever! Rex was fortunate enough to receive a deceased donor's kidney as he was in end stage renal failure due to Polycystic Kidney Disease.

We are extremely excited and blessed to be receiving this second chance at life, but unfortunately this means bills will still continue.

Rex is the bread winner of our family, and they are estimating him to be off of work for a minimum of 2 months(if his job will allow him to go back with light duty responsibilities) or this could be extended to 4 months if light duties are not an option.

I will continue to work, but I will be having to miss days to take Rex to multiple doctors visits and labs for the next few months.

We were fortunate enough to have had funds to assist with bills due to recent missed worked days and to assist with payments for doctors visits, but the next few months will be a struggle for us.

We ask that you please continue to pray for the donor's family during this difficult time. We can't imagine the pain they are going through.
