On January 4th, 2020 the Jukes family lost a loving father, brother and son, Rex Jukes JR.. We are asking in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to help with Rex’s funeral and burial expenses. Jukes, Jr., of Jordan Village, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Rex was born in Clinton, Indiana on February 27, 1955 to Rex E. Jukes, Sr. and Clarabelle (Delp) Jukes. Rex was an electrician who enjoyed riding his Harley and his horses. Rex enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved his grandchildren. Rex is survived by his mother, Pastor Clarabelle Jukes, sisters, Judy and husband Enis Slater, Karen Jukes, Jeannie and husband Steve Grafe, brothers, Robert D. and wife Melissa Jukes, Roger M. and wife Tina Jukes, Randy S. Jukes, children, Tony Michael and wife Linda Jukes, Mahala and husband Terrence Burger, Tracy Coonce, Chad "Fingers" Buell, and also, Shelly Jukes, Mike and Jenny Gates, Brandy and Ricky Ledgerwood, grandchildren, Brandy Jukes, Kamryn Burger, Devin Burger, Micah Gates, Makayla Gates, Chloe Gates, Luke Gates, Mackenzie Ledgerwood, Bob Ledgerwood, Lisa Ledgerwood and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rex was preceded in death by his father, Rex E. Jukes, Sr., and infant sons, Rex Jukes III, and Frank Jukes. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer. Pastor Brad Delp will officiate. Burial will follow in Olive Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
