Rewilding Rei

Donation protected
My name is Lisa Kytösaho and I am a wildlife rehabilitator and currently I am doing a never before done type of rewilding of a Leopard.

Rei has a intended release sight for him in north of Mozambique where he will be introduced to once he is about 2 years of age.
The rewilding cost a lot of money, which I am all funding myself, and your support would be super helpful.

Currently I am seeking funds to fence him a new area, this will be an amazing habitat for him. He will establish himself in this new area until next stage of the rewilding which will be a boma prior to release.

Rei means King in Portuguese and he has this name as he will claim his kingdom in Mozambique (Portuguese speaking country) one day and this journey brings hope to captive animals all around the world.

Rei origin is that he was born at a zoo. And absolutely no chance of a wild natural life.
When I was asked if I would take this cub, I had to take some time to think first as normally leopards isn’t an animal known to be rewilded.
With the help of wildlife vets and further extensive research myself, we concluded that there’s hope for this cub and we will attempt to be the first to rewild a captive born leopard into African wilderness.
Join our journey and support if you can ❤️
