Reward Fund for Information Concerning our Dogs

Donation protected
On December 11th, it was made evident to the Pirri-Huckins family that their dogs who had gone missing on November 25th, had been killed (via handgun) and dumped on the side of the road no further than 1/4 mile from their house with malicious intent. There is an investigation to attempt hold the offender accountable. The family is offering $1,000 reward for information, seeing as the great community of Niles has many esteemed members offering to add on to the reward, the family has elected to create this as a means to collect money. If no one steps forward with information, the collected money will be donated to Berrien County Animal Control as they have been most pivotal throughout this process. THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF DONATION.

ABOUT THE DOGS
Bianca and Ophelia were family dogs, who joyfully greeted every person will a single excited bark. Often they would jump up in your arms, or as you sat on the couch, they would jump on your lap and seek to be held by you for hours.

Bianca was born October 30, 2020 and came home December 30, 2020. Having a puppy was a new experience for the family as they had only adopted strays until that point. Bianca offered many lessons to be taught to the Pirri kids, specifically Paul and Isabelle, her primary caretakers and trainers. Very swiftly Isabelle and Bianca developed a strong emotional bound, to the point where long periods of separation from Isabelle caused Bianca to slip into a very mellow, almost depressed mood. Isabelle took great relish in finding clothes for her companion to wear (as any normal 16 year old girl would). For Paul, Bianca was a method to venture into the dog world, working with her to learn Confirmation and handling. Bianca was exhibited in the 2022 and 2023 at the Berrien County Youth Fair. Bianca absolutely loved the snow, it was the only thing that ever gave her the zoomies. She was infamous for her peculiar w position where she would stick both legs out to the side.

The names of the dogs represent the values of the family on the deepest level. The names Bianca and Ophelia stem from the studies of the kids in Shakespeare. The goal was to develop a whole lineage of dogs over the years. For Stacey, the Bernese Mountain Dogs were a venture to find a new role within the family as she moved out of an era of homeschooling and into an era of empty nest-hood.

Ophelia was born on March 29, 2023 via C-section from Bianca. Ophelia was the prodigy for the household. A beautiful specimen, genetically sound expected to enter the show ring in January. Watching her grow from within her mother's womb to 95 lb giant baby. At 8 months old, Ophelia was still in her puppy stage. She was infamous for tearing around the corner and running into your legs as she was quite clumsy. The adolescent dog was also know to what her head on everything from the walls and floor to the underside of a table or a door. Ophelia loved to sit in the bathroom next to the air vent whenever she was hot.
