REWARD for Info for Conviction of Codi's murderer

Hello, my name is Laurie Erskine and our family and community were affected by a tragic crime involving my horse. My horse Codi was murdered in my parent's pasture on Boise River Rd in Parma, Idaho between 5/11/2023 and 5/12/2023. She was shot 9 times by a semiautomatic weapon. It was a smaller caliber gun, judging by the size of the bullet holes. She was shot five times in her chest and 4 times in her heart. She ran about 60 feet from where she was shot and then she died. The Sheffif was immediately notified once my dad found Codi on 5/12/2023. No one should have to walk out to their pasture to find that their animal(s) have been murdered at their home. It definitely makes a person feel unsafe in their own home and on their own property. This is a cruel, senseless, and horrific tragedy, that never should have happened to an innocent animal. She was a 6-year-old Quarter Horse Mare that had a sweet disposition. She was always the first to meet you at the gate. She was our family horse but was going to be my son Aidan's horse once he is old enough to ride by himself. We had so many plans for her future with us. I was going to show her because her gaits were absolutely beautiful. Codi was the first horse my son ever sat on and rode around, and they were going to be able to grow up together. I had a horse like that when I was a kid, her name was Missy and we did everything together. I wanted him to have the same kind of blessing growing up with as well. It breaks my heart that what I thought was going to be such a blessing to him has now become such a tragedy for our family and our community.

We want to make sure that this does NOT happen to anyone else's family or innocent animal! And to do that we need to catch the person or people responsible for this.

We are collecting donations that will go to the person or people that can give us accurate information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or people who did this to our sweet Codi. If there is more than one person that gives us accurate information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person/people responsible for Codi's death, the money will be divided up between the people.

However, if we are not able to get this case solved in 24 months by 05/12/2025, the proceeds from this will go to benefit a horse charity/charities of my choosing on or after 05/12/2025 in honor of Codi. I will choose the charity on or after 05/12/2025, because the charities needs change so often.

Please know that if you donate to this cause you will not get your money back. It will either go to the person/people that give the accurate and detailed information to get the person and or people responsible for Codi's murder arrested and convicted or it will go to a horse charity of my choosing on or after 05/12/2025.
