Revolutionize Food With LIX Nutrition
Donation protected
We are LIX – a new approach to essential nutrition for people who can’t chew or swallow. Led by two UC Berkeley chemistry students, we’re developing a melt-in-your-mouth supplement designed specifically for people with dysphagia (swallowing issues), oral injuries, neurological disorders, nausea and other conditions that make eating difficult, painful or even dangerous.
LIX delivers dense, reliable nutrition, such as calories, vitamins, and minerals, all in a small, smooth, caramel-like square that dissolves on the tongue in under 30 seconds. Simple, effective nourishment when it’s needed most.
Who is LIX for?
- Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or head and neck radiation
- People with swallowing disorders or esophageal obstruction
- Individuals with ALS, Parkinson’s, or stroke
- Patients with poor dentition
- People recovering from oral surgery or facial trauma
- Anyone who needs safe, accessible nutrition fast (athletes, people on-the-go, etc)
We’ve been working to perfect the formulation and are ready to take the next step: testing and production. With your help, we can bring this life-saving supplement to the people who need it most.
Thank you for your support!
