Our Target
Join us in supporting "Revive," a not for profit CIC that has been established to step into the mental health crisis and provide low cost, affordable counselling and holistic mental wellbeing support young people, parents and adults in need. “Revive” requires £7,560 to enable the setting up of the counselling and mental wellbeing service. We have recently been successful in securing a grant of £5,672 from Ashfield District Council and therefore we have an initial shortfall of £1,888 to cover the initial set up costs. Once the service is established, a team of qualified and trainee counsellors will be able to quickly start supporting those most in need through low cost, affordable counselling and group support for young people, families and adults. This will be facilitated online, and then within wellbeing hubs based in the community with our initial focus on developing a wellbeing hub in Ashfield. Although Revive are motivated by their Christian faith, the services will be open to everyone of any faith and background.

The mental health crisis
With the current mental health pandemic, unprecedented levels of suicide and self-harm, there’s an urgent need for mental health support as demand is outstripping current capacity. The pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis and current world events have had a huge impact on people’s health and wellbeing. Higher levels of demand, shortfalls of staff and pressures on budgets in the NHS places a significant pressure on mental health services and people are left without the support they desperately need. Revive has a mission to mobilise the church to step into this mental health crisis, to develop communities of hope and to facilitate an evidenced based and holistic mental wellbeing service.

Who we are
At Revive, our vision is for young people, parents and adults within the community to be supported, empowered and equipped with the tools they need to thrive and live purpose driven lives. We aim to provide low cost, affordable counselling, group therapy and pastoral support and to deliver activities and programmes based around the ’Five Ways to Wellbeing’. We believe in the transformative power of love, hope, community and empowerment by offering a safe space for those seeking support and healing. Our dedicated team of mental wellbeing professionals are committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges by fostering mental, physical emotional, relational and spiritual wellbeing.

What will we be doing?
Our services will be accessible initially online to all people throughout the UK and later additionally hosted within community wellbeing hubs, with our initial focus being developing a wellbeing hub in Ashfield. Your generous contribution will make a profound difference, enabling us to extend our reach and impact even more lives. The money received will be used to set up counselling and group therapy services, to support those in need. Together, let's rebuild hope, restore and renew lives and support people and families in living life to the full.
