Hello, my name is Walter Lee McGucken. I opened a diner in 2008 and named it Edith Ann’s, after my mother. I operated the diner until 2021 when I had to close it. Covid played a big part in its closing and I am just seeking another chance to try and continue what was started. We had a great following up until Covid, very involved in the community, and tried to give back to our community. I was very involved in recovery efforts in North Alabama as well as fundraising for different groups. Not sure I ever said no to someone who needed help. I know that people are looking for a good meal at a good price with good service. We have done that and would like to try again to be the place to go for a reasonably priced meal in Huntsville. We won numerous “Best of Awards” and will strive to do that again!
