Revive Dave's Ride: Triumph Speed Triple
Donation protected
Back home in Australia, Dave was facing the deaths of close friends and an urge to ride. Not just any ride. But to ride in the United States. Something him and his friends talked about how they would love to come and ride. After their deaths Dave decided to come ride in the states for a few months. Knowing his buddies would say go ride, he of course choose to come ride. He ended up in Kansas City. A place he hadn’t seen in 20 years. But he knew he had a friend here who would allow him to stay. So then came the search of a bike. After countless searches he came across a 2008 Triumph Speed Triple 1050. It needed some tlc like all used bikes but he started to work on it. He knew when his dad was here he rode a triumph. So it hit home with him a little bit. After riding the summer he knew it was only a short time before he would have to go back to Australia. And with what money he had running thin. There was still so much he wanted to go see and ride while in the states. The bike being his only transportation he was riding in the rain and snow. After receiving an extension on his visa he became a little more hopeful to riding all he wanted to.
But suddenly his bike that he had become so attached to started to tick. The tick became a knock. And now the bike sits waiting. The search has began. To find a way to fix the bike so he could finish out the mission he came here for. But the search is harder than we thought. With funds tight and options thin my heart breaks for him. He only has a short time left in the states and he would love to spend that time on the bike. He has some money saved to buy what it needs but anything else would help him tremendously and speed up the process for him to be back on his wheels or for those that know Dave, back on his wheel.
