My name is Charlie, and my family business is Canfield Corner Pharmacy.

We operate out of a beautiful three story building dating to 1875 in the heart of Woodbury, Connecticut.

My family has owned the store since 1950, and in the last 75 years we have served everyone from farmers to movie stars. The fountain has seen such famous posteriors as Marilyn Monroe & Arthur Miller.

Our community has kept us going through the best and worst of times, and I now ask for their assistance in offsetting costs towards reopening our historic soda fountain.

From the time my family took over the business in 1950, until the mid 1980s our soda fountain served tens of thousands, and we’ve taken the first steps towards doing so again.

I have a vision of serving ice cream sodas, root beer floats, and banana splits just like we used to- in a friendly country store where the community can continue to thrive.
