Revive Betty: A Journey to Overcome Struggles

Hey everyone, if you don't already know, 5 years ago I learned that I Have AVM (Ateriovenous Malformation) which caused me to have a stroke at age 40. The following year I was hit by a car in downtown Guerneville. CRAZY RIGHT?! Both incidences have rendered me partially paralyzed on the right side of my body. Prior to all of this I used to be a professional chef which was my life's passion. The partial paralysis has made me unable to perform many everyday tasks such as the amazing chefly duties I was once able to do. As you can imagine, I am not able to take on most employment positions now. Since my accidents I have been on SSDI(Social Security Disability Insurance) I receive a limited income every month which a majority goes to my rent and utilities. Unfortunately that doesn't leave me with much after bills are paid.
Back in March I discovered my beautiful little 4Runner developed a "rod knock" so I need to have my engine thoroughly looked at to make sure there is no other damage. If there is, then I will have to replace the motor all together. Along with all that fun stuff, my truck also needs new front frame components and an alignment. YEAH..SAD RIGHT?!
So in a nutshell, I'm in a serious bind LOL! My truck is my lifeline and without it I am unable to function independently. Many Doctors appointments, grocery shopping(because I'm slanging homemade pies to make extra cash...you know, because I'm a chef and can still do some little things) all the things I need to survive.
So, here I am in need of some help, any kind of help.
Love, Leslie
