Hello everyone! About a year ago, I had four major reconstructive hip surgeries. One of the surgeons horribly botched two of the surgeries (Femoral Osteotomy + PAO)
I have been discussing my options with other surgeons. It looks like we could do some revision surgeries, that would at least get me to a point of sitting, standing and walking pain-free again.
I am anxious to get these done as I would love to live pain-free, get the dreadful experience over with, and begin the long healing journey.
My insurance is refusing to cover massive portions of the surgery. No matter how many calls I or my doctors make, they don’t seem to be budging. I may have to raise the goal as I only have finalized the prices for 1/3 revision surgeries at this time. Im still figuring out 2 + 3 w/ my insurance. Id hate to overestimate whats needed.
I unfortunately spent my savings on the initial surgeries and supporting myself through the healing thereafter. If I can not raise the money, I will have wait until I save the money to do that again, and I desperately don’t want to prolong my pain. This is a very uncomfortable ask for me. Any help is so beyond appreciated. Thank you for reading and caring.
