Retirement Wheels for Reverends Lee & Gary

Reverends Lee Blaisdell & Gary Leard are retiring!

And Reverend Lee's last Sunday as CSL Laurel's Senior Minister is Sunday, Oct 1, 2023.

Many have inquired as to the best way to express their appreciation for these two and the light, wisdom, humor and love they have extended over the years, which has inspired this fundraiser.

If, over the past 21 years, you have been touched in some way by one of their inspiring messages, laughed at one of Rev. Lee's painfully wonderful dad jokes, been mesmerized by one of Rev. Gary's beautiful songs, or experienced one of their many selfless acts of kindness and generosity, this fundraiser is offered as one way for you to celebrate their next chapter.

Specifically, this fundraiser’s goal is to help defray the cost of an electric scooter they have recently purchased as a way to better support their new adventures in retirement. As you may know, Rev. Gary experienced a stroke four years ago which has limited his mobility and also limited the places they could readily explore together. This scooter has opened up many more opportunities, helping to make their retirement a much more expansive and enjoyable adventure for both of them.
