Rev. James Stewart funeral arrangements
Donation protected
Hello, our names are Alan and Ahna Stewart. We are the children of Rev. James and Tilly Stewart. We are creating this fundraiser to support our mother financially with our fathers funeral and to continue his mission for Baltimore. As expressed in the bio below, our father was extremely passionate about the city of Baltimore and this vibrant community. Many of you have expressed a desire to support our family at this time and we have both come to realize through your generosity how much love there is for our father all over the world. We will forever be grateful to everyone for all the love and support you have shown us at this time of grief. Our father was a one of a kind man. He always wanted what was best for everyone and never hesitated to help when it was needed. He loved us and our mother unconditionally and will be sorely missed. Please read the bio below about our father.
Rev. James Stewart has transitioned into the spiritual world on Dec 22nd at 9:45am ET. As Subregion 2 Director, I would like to testify to the great leadership of Rev. James Stewart.
Rev James Stewart was the State Leader of Maryland, the Pastor of Baltimore Family Church, Subregion 2 Heavenly Tribal Messiah Coordinator and Subregion 2 Senior Pastor Association (SPA) Coordinator. Rev James Stewart lived for the sake of others, especially in the city of Baltimore where he worked to develop a thriving church community and a food pantry that weekly donates 2,000 of lbs. of bread, meals and other essential supplies to churches, food banks, organizations, and families in need.
Rev. James Stewart was born in Scotland in 1959. He spent his early years growing up on the Island of Malta. Educated in Scotland he joined the Unification Movement in Edinburgh at the age of 18 after graduating from high school. He received the Marriage Blessing with Matilda Ayers from Baltimore, Maryland at the 2075 Couples’ Marriage Blessing at Madison Square Garden in New York in 1982. They have two adult children Alan and Ahna.
Rev. James and Tilly Stewart have both spent many years on the Mobile Fundraising team (MFT) in America, Europe and Britain. They have served as commanders for MFT, International One World Crusade (IOWC) and headed witnessing and education workshops. They both resumed their education fulltime in the 90s and earned degrees for mental health, education and divinity.
Rev. James and Tilly Stewart returned to the America in 2001. James served with FFWPU USA at the national headquarters for several years in Washington, D.C. They now live in their hometown of Baltimore and are Pastors for the Baltimore Family Church, working with the vision to build a safe, loving, healing and vibrant community where all can experience the substantial love of God.
Rev. Stewart was mentored by Rev. Yo Han Lee and Rev. Won Pil Kim and was eventually sent to the United States and asked to help care for some of the True Children and teach them horseback riding at Barrytown.
Rev James Stewart led a Peace Start with Me Rally in Baltimore in 2019 to bring Peace in the city of Baltimore and hope for the youth. As part of the event, a clean-up service project was organized and two hundred bags of groceries were also donated to families in need. He also hosted many events at the Holy Grounds in Baltimore and always inspired the community to pray for the city of Baltimore and for America. He also coordinated the HJ Cheonbo event in Maryland in 2018 and organized several marriage blessing ceremonies in Christian churches.
